On another note, this week has been so busy!!! I have been sewing and crafting away getting ready for a Holiday Bazaar! It has been Crazy!!!!! The shop is getting low, my patience is running thin and my head is pounding! I knew I should have started this project way sooner then last week! lol

Well I am off to finish crafting! Be sure to check back for photos of my booth at the bazaar and an updated shop!!!

Thanksgiving and Black Friday!! Link up!

First Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! This is my favorite holiday, no gifts, no craziness, just family and friends spending time together and be thankful for the blessed year. Oh yeah and the AMAZING food!!!
On another note, as I was watching to news, I saw something that was kind of sad, people missing out on valuable family time to save a buck. Now I am all for shopping and saving money, but really camping out a week ahead of time to get the best deals. Kinda Crazy!!! I rather have a nice dinner with my family and friends and then hit the shopping!! lol

Do shop on Black Friday?

Everyone know I have two sons and 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. Well this will be the first year that I will not be taking them Black Friday shopping with me! I know crazy I took them the last two years! Now usually my little brother (who is 18) is my Black Friday shopping partner, however this year he is at Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He shipped out November 7, 2011 (my 23rd birthday). So this year I am going to be doing my Black Friday shopping with his girlfriend and her family! I am looking forward to it! We have a few stops we are going to be making.

I sat down with Ian and Reed last night, Reed made his list for Santa and so did Ian! lol I decided on what stores I needed to go to first and what time to leave. Nothing on Black Friday goes as planned, so that is my plan. lol

Vacation and Referral Giveaway Winners!

I had a wonderful time in The Bay Area! We got to visit with family, spent the day in San Fran (where I went to an awesome fabric store), had some amazing dinners, learned some awesome recipes, and did a little shopping!

Crazy Busy!!!

I have been so busy this last week! I have been working on custom apron orders, inventory for a holiday bazaar, and taking care of my two kids and 6 pot belly piglets. I am exhausted! However I am finally on Vacation!!!!!However I did bring my sewing machine and my craft stuff, and I will be checking out a few awesome fabric stores.

Anyways there are a few things about Modern MayeFlower I wanted to discuss. First  the cut off date for Holiday Orders is December 15th. Since I am the only person who, cuts, irons and sews each apron, December 15th will be the last day to order to insure I get all the orders out in time for the Holidays. Also I know I have had some headbands and other things in my shop they will still be in there but my main focus is my aprons since I LOVE making them!! Third there will be an increase of inventory after the holiday season as well as a new item, reversible totes! I am super excited for them I have made a few and they are awesome!!! 

Now I want to Thank everyone for all the support you have given me. I have been so swamped with orders, it is amazing! I am so happy I have found a way to have an income, all while still being able to take care of my mother and wife duties. So Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me along the way! As of now most of my orders come through Facebook, so I want to remind everyone that I do have an Etsy Store. Also I now have a landing page so everything is easier to find. Birthday Week!!!!

My birthday trip started with a short and sweet trip to the coast to visit my grandparents, who live in Westlake (10 miles south of Florence). They live right on the lake, it is awesome!!! We took the boys to the beach, wrote in the sand and collected sea shells! From there we had to stop at A&W to get Rootbeer Floats! That is a MUST!!!!! We spent the rest of the night visiting with my grandparents and just enjoying the time! We had a huge seafood feast, one of my favorite dinners!!!!  The next morning we relaxed had breakfast and went on an early morning canoe ride down the river. The boys picked me some flowers and on the way back it started to sprinkle. So in the middle of Reed singing "Row, Row, Row your boat", it turned in to "row faster daddy, row faster". So funny!!! Oh not to mention Reed thought the pirates were going to come out and get him! We headed home that afternoon and Ian dropped me off at Bunco! I have an awesome Bunco group, I am the youngest by a few years but they are so funny and rowdy!!!

I have been asking for a Greenhouse for awhile now, well this week. . . . Ian built me a Greenhouse!

Then My little piggy Rosie had 7 babies!!!

 Her babies are so cute, but she gets crazy when she has babies and doesn't want me anywhere near them. So i get pictures when I  can!  But expect a ton more pictures to come!!!!
